Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation and drug screen required by Allied Universal.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and the public by following site procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal, roadway, waterfront, parking, and perimeter areas to identify hazards and report concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for vehicles, personnel, vendors, and deliveries per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, patrol observations, access-control activity, and other security-related matters.
