Job summary

Allied Universal in Rancho Cordova, CA is seeking a Part Time Security Guard (Unarmed Deterrence Patrol) to protect clients across logistics and distribution sites. You will patrol, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service while reporting observations.

The role offers a flexible part-time schedule with night shifts; pay rate is $21.00 per hour. A guard card or license is preferred, and candidates must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, background investigation will be conducted.
• Allied Universal may consider applicants with criminal histories per law.
• A drug screen will be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner; document observations and notify site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and help maintain orderly traffic flow; complete activity and incident reports.
