Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Driver in Tacoma, WA to patrol government locations, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service. This role requires a valid driver’s license and strong security fundamentals.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you’ll conduct patrols, monitor access points, and document activities. The position emphasizes Allied Universal values and teamwork, with a daytime/evening shift schedule and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at a government location by following security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and inquiries in a calm, professional manner with established reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of government buildings, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity, reporting unauthorized access or hazards.
• Prepare incident reports and logs with professional communication to site representatives.
