Job summary

Allied Universal in Durham, NC is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Access Control Patrol. You will provide security services at a commercial real estate site, perform patrols, manage access control, and deliver excellent customer service.

The role requires basic computer use, adherence to policies, and a background check with a drug screen where permitted. This is a full-time position with an hourly pay rate of $21.00.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check required by law; drug screen required where permitted.
• License requirements may apply by state/local law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and staff per site policies.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interiors, grounds, and access points.
• Respond calmly to incidents and alarms following procedures.
• Monitor property access and report unauthorized entry attempts.
• Complete logs and shift documentation; communicate with incoming personnel.
