Job summary

Cascadia Global Security in Seguin, Texas is seeking a Security Officer to join our full-time team. The role includes access control, on-foot patrols, and reporting safety concerns for client sites; the shift schedule is evenings and overnights with competitive pay of $17.00 per hour.

Ideal candidates are 21 or older, hold an active unarmed Texas guard license, can pass background and DMV checks, and have basic computer and report-writing skills.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Active unarmed Texas security guard license (level 2).
• Basic computer skills and report-writing ability.
• Willing to work mornings, swing shifts, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Able to handle stressful situations and emergencies.
• Must pass a DMV check.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and report safety conditions that may endanger the client, associates, or public safety
• Patrol on foot to maintain visibility and observe unusual activities at client facilities
• Theft and vandalism deterrence
• Ensure a safe and professional work environment for client and staff
• Keep daily administrative documentation concise and complete
• Maintain uniform and grooming standards while in uniform

  • Monday-Wednesday 5 pm - 5:30 am + Thursday 9:30 pm - 5:30 am
• $17.00 per hour
• Daily pay; get paid as soon as the NEXT DAY!

This position requires the use of a company vehicle; all applicants must be over 21 with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record

Armed Security Guard Responsibilities

Access Control

• Investigate and report maintenance and safety conditions that may endanger the client, its associates, or public safety
• Patrols are assigned on foot to maintain visibility and observe possible unusual activities at client facilities
• Theft and vandalism visual deterrent
• Ensure the client, its associates, and facility personnel are provided with a safe and professional work environment
• Ensure that daily administrative documentation is always kept concise and complete
• Uniform attire and grooming standards must be maintained while in uniform

Qualifications and skills

• Minimum 21years of age
• An active unarmed Guard Card is required
• Basic computer skills and report-writing experience
• Available to work morning, swing shift, or nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Must be able to handle stressful situations and emergencies
• Must be able to pass a DMV check

Pay and Benefits

• $17.00 per hour

Experience

• Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
