Marksman Security is seeking unarmed PGR retail security officers for 2nd shift. We offer full-time and part-time openings with competitive pay and opportunities to advance in a nationwide security team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Valid Texas state driver's license.
• Valid Texas Guard License.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience; minimum of one year of security experience.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug).
• This position will require occasional crawling, crouching, climbing of stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping and walking for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle and foot patrols of areas in the public right of way to identify safety risks.
• Respond to calls for service in the public right of way.
• Maintain a visible, professional presence and public interactions.
• Document interactions in clear, timely written reports.
• Pass on pertinent information to team members and the client.
• Monitor for suspicious activity to prevent vandalism, theft or crime.
• Warn violators of infractions (loitering, smoking, etc.).
• Respond to distress, alarms or emergencies by contacting first responders.
• Identify and report safety or security concerns promptly.
• Ensure rules and regulations are enforced.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
