Job summary

OPS Security Group in Plymouth Meeting, PA is seeking a Physical Security Officer (Unarmed) for on-site assignments across medical centers, government facilities, hospitality venues and public events. You will monitor cameras, conduct patrols, and report issues while delivering high-end customer service.

Requires a High School diploma or GED, two years of face-to-face customer service experience and two years of security experience; excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to pass

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of face-to-face customer service experience.
• Two years of security experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Must pass a comprehensive background investigation, urinalysis screening and OPS training requirements.
• Ability to work under stress / pressure.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and wear a uniform.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the camera system.
• Implement a scan point tour of the property for tracking patrols and reporting issues.
• Report signs of forced entry, safety issues, and abnormal activity through the tour system.
• Ensure all guests and vendors sign in when entering the property.
• Greet and acknowledge all residents, guests, and vendors.
• Deliver high end customer service.
• Respond to emergencies.
• Deterring and preventing crime.
• Perform ingress/egress control procedures.
• Investigating incidents.
• Detaining suspects.
• Performing other related duties as assigned.
