Job summary

OPS Security Group is seeking an Armed Security Officer in Philadelphia, PA. The role may include working in medical centers, government facilities, hospitality venues and public events, with potential firearms responsibilities.

You will protect people, information and property while delivering top-tier customer service. Requirements include ACT 235, 21+ years, valid DL, HS diploma or GED, 1 year armed security experience, ability to pass PAT and drug screening.

Qualifications

• ACT235 certification is required for the role.
• Must be 21 years of age and hold a valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• One year of armed security experience is required.
• Must pass Physical Agility Test and Armed Security Officer course.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Delivering high end customer service.
• Responding to emergencies.
• Deterring and preventing crime.
• Completing daily logs and incident reports.
• Conducting regular walking or vehicle patrols.
• Building and maintaining rapport with clients and staff.
• De-escalating conflicts.
• Performing other related duties as assigned.
