Security Engineers, Inc. is hiring unarmed patrol security officers for the 3rd shift in Chattanooga, TN. Officers deter incidents through visibility, perform patrols, monitor access points, verify identifications, and respond to alarms while keeping detailed logs.

The role requires a HS diploma, ability to obtain a security license, a valid driver’s license, weekend availability, and strong observation skills. This is a part-time position with paid training where allowed by law.

Qualifications

Must have or be able to obtain a Valid Security Officer/Guard License as required by the state licensing authority
Valid driver’s license from state of residence
Must be at least 18 years old
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)

Responsibilities

Patrol and surveillance: walk/drive to identify safety concerns and report them
Monitor access points; verify IDs and credentials
Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents per protocol
Maintain accurate logs of activities and incidents
Enforce site policies and provide customer service

Security Engineers is seeking dedicated Unarmed Patrol Security Officers to help maintain safe and secure environments for our clients. Officers play a vital role in deterring incidents through visibility, vigilance, and proactive engagement. Responsibilities include patrolling, monitoring access points, verifying identification, responding to alarms/emergencies, and maintaining detailed logs. This role requires professionalism, strong observational skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Minimum Qualifications

Must have or be able to obtain a Valid Security Officer/Guard License as required by the state licensing authority

Duties & Responsibilities

Patrol & Surveillance

Conduct walking and vehicle patrols to identify and report safety concerns
Monitor access points; verify IDs and credentials
Monitor surveillance systems for threats or suspicious activity

Incident Response & Reporting

Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents per protocol
Maintain accurate logs of activities and incidents
Perform routine security tasks (e.g., locking/unlocking doors)

Customer Service & Policy Enforcement

Assist visitors and employees professionally
Enforce site-specific Post Orders and security protocols
Ensure compliance with SEI and client policies (e.g., smoking, loitering, parking)
