Job summary

Security Engineers is seeking dedicated Unarmed Security Officers to help maintain safe environments for our clients in Tennessee. Officers patrol, monitor access points, verify identification, respond to alarms, and maintain detailed logs.

This is a Part-Time, 3rd Shift opportunity with weekends required (Saturday and Sunday 7:00pm - 7:00am). Minimum qualifications include a Tennessee Security Officer License, 18+ years old, and prior security or customer service experience.

Qualifications

Must have valid Tennessee Security Officer License.
Minimum 18 years old.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
1+ year security, law enforcement, or military experience.
2+ years customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Patrol premises and report safety concerns.
Monitor access points and verify IDs.
Respond to alarms and incidents per protocol.
Maintain logs of activities and incidents.
Enforce site policies and client rules.
Assist visitors and employees.

Responsibilities include patrolling, monitoring access points, verifying identification, responding to alarms/emergencies, and maintaining detailed logs. This role requires professionalism, strong observational skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Minimum Qualifications

Valid Tennessee Security Officer License as required by state licensing authority
Must be at least 18 years old

Duties & Responsibilities

Patrol & Surveillance

Conduct walking patrols to identify and report safety concerns
Monitor access points, gate signing trucks in and out; verify IDs and credentials
Monitor surveillance systems for threats or suspicious activity

Incident Response & Reporting

Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents per protocol
Maintain accurate logs of activities and incidents
Perform routine security tasks (e.g., locking/unlocking doors)

Customer Service & Policy Enforcement

Assist visitors and employees professionally
Enforce site-specific Post Orders and security protocols
Ensure compliance with SEI and client policies (e.g., smoking, loitering, parking)
