Security Engineers, Inc. is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for a part-time, 2nd shift position in Alabama. Officers deter incidents through visibility, patrol duties, access control, and timely response to alarms while maintaining detailed logs and professional conduct.

The candidate must have a valid ASRB license (or be able to obtain one), be 18+, and hold a high school diploma or equivalent. Paid training is provided where state law allows; weekend availability is required.

Minimum Qualifications

You must hold or be able to obtain a Valid ASRB License as required by state licensing authority
Must be at least 18 years old

Duties & Responsibilities

Patrol & Surveillance

Conduct walking patrols to identify and report safety concerns
Monitor access points; verify IDs and credentials
Monitor surveillance systems for threats or suspicious activity

Incident Response & Reporting

Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents per protocol
Maintain accurate logs of activities and incidents
Perform routine security tasks (e.g., locking/unlocking doors)

Customer Service & Policy Enforcement

Assist visitors and employees professionally
Enforce site-specific Post Orders and security protocols
Ensure compliance with SEI and client policies (e.g., smoking, loitering, parking)
