Job summary

Security Engineers is seeking dedicated Unarmed Patrol Security Officers to help maintain safe environments for our clients. This part-time role focuses on visible patrols, access control, and rapid response to alarms, with training provided where required.

Candidates must be at least 18, have a valid state security license (or be able to obtain one) and a valid driver's license. Weekend availability is required; position offers competitive wages and benefits.

Security Engineers is seeking dedicated Unarmed Patrol Security Officers to help maintain safe and secure environments for our clients. Officers play a vital role in deterring incidents through visibility, vigilance, and proactive engagement. Responsibilities include patrolling, monitoring access points, verifying identification, responding to alarms/emergencies, and maintaining detailed logs. This role requires professionalism, strong observational skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Minimum Qualifications

Must have or be able to obtain a valid State Security License
Valid driver's license and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets company approved driver standards
Must be at least 18 years old

Duties & Responsibilities

Patrol & Surveillance

Conduct walking and vehicle patrols to identify and report safety concerns
Monitor access points; verify IDs and credentials
Monitor surveillance systems for threats or suspicious activity

Incident Response & Reporting

Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents per protocol
Maintain accurate logs of activities and incidents
Perform routine security tasks (e.g., locking/unlocking doors)

Customer Service & Policy Enforcement

Assist visitors and employees professionally
Enforce site-specific Post Orders and security protocols
Ensure compliance with SEI and client policies (e.g., smoking, loitering, parking)
