Job summary

Security Engineers, Inc. is seeking dedicated Unarmed Patrol Security Officers to maintain safe environments for our clients. This is a temporary 3rd shift (Fall and Winter) Mon-Fri 11 PM–7 AM, paying $15.00 per hour.

Duties include patrolling, monitoring access, verifying IDs, responding to alarms, and logging activities with professionalism. Requirements: valid Security Officer/Guard License, a valid driver’s license, and be at least 18 years old.

Qualifications

Must have or be able to obtain a valid Security Officer/Guard License as required by the state licensing authority.
Valid driver’s license and a Motor Vehicle Record meeting company standards.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Weekend availability and ability to work night shifts preferred.

Responsibilities

Patrol & surveillance across client sites.
Monitor access points; verify IDs and credentials.
Respond to alarms and emergencies per protocol.
Maintain detailed logs and reports.

Officers play a vital role in deterring incidents through visibility, vigilance, and proactive engagement. Responsibilities include patrolling, monitoring access points, verifying identification, responding to alarms/emergencies, and maintaining detailed logs. This role requires professionalism, strong observational skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Minimum Qualifications

Must have or be able to obtain a Valid Security Officer/Guard License as required by the state licensing authority
Valid driver’s license and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets company approved driver standards.
Must be at least 18 years old

Duties & Responsibilities

Patrol & Surveillance

Conduct walking and vehicle patrols to identify and report safety concerns
Monitor access points; verify IDs and credentials
Monitor surveillance systems for threats or suspicious activity

Incident Response & Reporting

Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents per protocol
Maintain accurate logs of activities and incidents
Perform routine security tasks (e.g., locking/unlocking doors)

Customer Service & Policy Enforcement

Assist visitors and employees professionally
Enforce site-specific Post Orders and security protocols
Ensure compliance with SEI and client policies (e.g., smoking, loitering, parking)

Required Skills & Abilities

Minimum
