Security Engineers, Inc. is hiring an Unarmed Patrol Security Officer for the 2nd shift in Tucker, GA. The role requires vigilance, professional conduct, and ready responsiveness to incidents.

The position is part-time with a Mon-Fri 2PM-10PM schedule and pays $17.00 per hour. Benefits include medical, life, dental, vision, paid holidays, and a 401K plan.

Responsibilities

• Patrol and surveillance to identify and report safety concerns.
• Monitor access points; verify IDs and credentials.
• Monitor surveillance systems for threats or suspicious activity.
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents per protocol.
• Maintain accurate logs of activities and incidents.
• Assist visitors and employees and enforce site policies.

Officers play a vital role in deterring incidents through visibility, vigilance, and proactive engagement. Responsibilities include patrolling,monitoringaccess points, verifying identification, responding to alarms/emergencies, andmaintainingdetailed logs. This role requires professionalism, strong observational skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Minimum Qualifications

Duties & Responsibilities

Incident Response & Reporting Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents per protocol Maintainaccuratelogs of activities and incidents Perform routine security tasks (e.g., locking/unlocking doors)

Customer Service & Policy Enforcement Assist visitors and employees professionally Enforce site-specific Post Orders and security protocols Ensure compliance with SEI and client policies (e.g., smoking, loitering, parking)

Required Skills & Abilities

Minimum Ability to perform in fast-paced, high-pressure environments Weekend availability Strong situational awareness and problem-solving skills Ability to remain calm and effective in critical situations Basic computer skills; ability to use tablets for reporting

Preferred Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
