Security Engineers, Inc. is seeking an Unarmed Patrol Security Officer for the 2nd shift in Burlington, NC.

You will perform visible patrols, monitor access points, and respond to alarms while maintaining detailed logs and a professional demeanor. The role requires weekend availability, a valid NC guard card, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass background, drug screening, and CPR/First Aid training as needed.

Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years old.
Must have or be able to obtain a Valid North Carolina Guard Card.
Security experience preferred but not required.
Valid driver’s license from state of residence.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid/AED.
Ability to work Weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
Must pass a drug test.

Responsibilities

Conduct walking and vehicle patrols to identify and report safety concerns.
Monitor access points; verify IDs and credentials.
Monitor surveillance systems for threats or suspicious activity.
Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents per protocol.
Maintain accurate logs of activities and incidents.
Perform routine security tasks (e.g., locking/unlocking doors).
Assist visitors and employees professionally.
Enforce site-specific Post Orders and security protocols.
Ensure compliance with SEI and client policies (e.g., smoking, loitering, parking).
