Job summary

Security Engineers, Inc. is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for the 3rd shift in Burlington, NC, to protect people and property through patrols and access control. The role emphasizes customer service, incident reporting, and adherence to security protocols.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to pass a drug test, and a valid driver’s license with good MVR. CPR/First Aid certification is a plus; paid training at state minimum wage where allowed.

Flexibility to work a 3rd shift: Wednesday-Sunday (Midnight-8am).

Responsibilities

Conduct regular walking patrols and monitor access points.
Provide excellent customer service to visitors and employees.
Document incidents and maintain logs for reporting.
Respond to alarms and emergencies following protocol.
Maintain professional appearance and follow post instructions.

Job Description:

The ability to remain calm, solve problems, and act effectively in a critical situation.
Conduct regular walking patrols to improve the safety of individuals and proactively identify and report security concerns.
Monitor facility access points, employing verification procedures to authenticate the identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting premises, in support of a secure environment.
Maintain precise and detailed logs documenting activities, incidents, and notable observations, facilitating comprehensive reporting and analysis for enhanced security measures.
Must have basic computer experience and the ability to use a tablet to conduct security reports.
Enforce security procedures in the relevant Security Post Instruction.
Execute routine tasks with proficiency, such as securely locking and unlocking doors, activating, and deactivating security systems, and diligently monitoring surveillance feeds for signs of potential threats or breaches.
Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, emergencies, and other incidents, utilizing appropriate actions and established protocols.
Always look professional in a clean and pressed uniform.
Informs and ensures compliance of SEI and Clients policies, such as smoking, loitering, parking violations, etc.
