Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Patrol Driver License in Normal, IL to protect client sites with unarmed patrols and credential verification. The role includes monitoring access, responding to incidents, and maintaining detailed security logs.

A valid driver's license is required, with CPR preferred and background checks in scope. Shifts include mornings, with a full-time schedule of five days per week.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Guard card/license preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, background check and drug screen may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors while following site security procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of manufacturing and business areas, parking locations, and perimeter points.
• Monitor access, verify credentials, and report unauthorized entry or concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, solution-oriented manner per site procedures.
• Prepare clear reports and maintain logs of patrols and security-related observations.
