Job summary

Allied Universal in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Customer Service Patrol to protect clients across a range of facilities. You will conduct routine unarmed patrols, monitor access points, deter security incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication.

This role supports a dynamic logistics and distribution location with a daytime/evening schedule; you will complete incident reports and work with site personnel to maintain a welcoming

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and drivers by following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of distribution facilities, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location, verify entry, and document activity.
• Respond to incidents and alarms, communicating observations and following protocols.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports and maintain professional presence in a fast-paced environment.
