Job summary

Allied Universal in Columbus, OH is seeking a Security Officer—Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Patrol Planning to protect data centers and facilities. You will conduct routine patrols, deter incidents, provide customer service, and support access-control procedures while adhering to driver policy requirements.

This driving role requires a valid driver's license and the ability to work a daytime and overnight schedule.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license per Allied Universal policy.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply based on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors following site policies and access-control protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and access concerns calmly and professionally, following escalation procedures.
• Conduct routine and random patrols of data center facilities, exterior areas, entry points, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify credentials and maintain logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate observations to site leadership and supervision to support continuous operations at a technology-focused location.
