Job summary

Eagles Point Security is seeking unarmed security officers for full-time and part-time overnight shifts in Carlsbad, CA. The role involves maintaining security presence, patrolling, monitoring access, and responding to incidents while delivering strong customer service to residents, guests, and staff.

Shifts are graveyard (4x 10-hour shifts) with pay at $18.00/hour based on experience. Valid CA Driver’s License and BSIS Guard Card are required; driving record should show a maximum of 1 point.

Qualifications

• Valid CA Driver’s License.
• Maximum of 1 point on driving record.
• Valid BSIS Guard Card (required).
• 1 year of security experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a strong security presence and deter unauthorized activity.
• Conduct foot patrols throughout the property.
• Monitor access points and enforce entry protocols.
• Respond to safety hazards, incidents, or suspicious behavior and report.
• Use reporting apps and GPS checkpoints to document activity.
• Prepare clear, professional incident reports.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, guests, and staff.

• Maintain a strong security presence and deter unauthorized activity
• Conduct continuous foot patrols throughout the property
• Monitor access points and enforce entry protocols
• Respond to and report safety hazards, incidents, client contacts or suspicious behavior
• Use mobile reporting software and scan checkpoints to report hourly activity.
• Document incidents clearly and professionally in written reports
• Provide outstanding customer service to residents, guests, and staff

• Valid CA Driver’s License
• Maximum of 1 point on driving record (copy required to interview).
• Valid Guard Card issued by BSIS (required).
• Strong verbal/written communication and attention to detail.
• Tech-savvy: must be comfortable using reporting apps and GPS tracking.
• Valid BSIS Guard Card (Required)1 year of security experience preferred
• Reliable transportation and a working smartphone are required.
• Physically able to stand/walk for entire shift
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated
