Job Skills / Requirements

Allstate Security is hiring six Unarmed Security Officers for assignments at client locations across San Diego. Bring your reliability, attention to detail, and customer service skills to a role helping maintain safe, welcoming properties.

• Pay: $21.95 per hour.
• Location: client sites throughout San Diego, California.
• Full-time, part-time, and flex/on-call assignments.
• Schedules may include mornings, swing shifts, overnights, and weekends, depending on the assignment.
• The specific worksite, employment type, workdays, and hours will be discussed during hiring based on current vacancies and your availability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible, professional security presence.
• Conduct interior and exterior foot patrols, or vehicle patrols when assigned and qualified.
• Monitor entrances, exits, access points, and assigned areas.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, trespassing, theft, and other security concerns.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and requests for assistance according to post orders and company procedures.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, or access-control systems when assigned.
• Provide courteous customer service to clients, employees, guests, vendors, and the public.
• Complete accurate Daily Activity Reports, incident reports, and shift documentation.
• Use mobile devices and security reporting applications as required.
• Follow company policies, client requirements, post orders, and applicable regulations.

Requirements

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional appearance, dependable attendance, and a responsible work ethic.
• Ability to remain alert, work independently, and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Availability for the schedule of your assigned position, including weekends or holidays where required.
• Comfort using smartphones, radios, and security reporting applications.
• Successful completion of required background screening.

Vehicle Patrol Assignments Only

• A valid driver’s license is required for driving assignments.
• The existing minimum age requirement of 25 applies to vehicle patrol assignments only.

Preferred Experience

• Previous security, patrol, retail, commercial, or customer service experience.

Assigned sites may include commercial properties, public-facing locations, retail environments, and vehicle patrol routes. Maintain situational awareness, professional customer service, and a focus on safety throughout your shift.
