Essential Job Functions:Responsible for the safety and well-being of guests and fellow employees.Gives directions and provide escorts to guests in need.Regularly provides escorts for employees in money-handling positions.Patrols the casino and adjacent buildings identifying safety hazards, security breaches, and breaks in company policy.Provides assistance to law enforcement agencies in a professional manner.Ensures lost and found items are documented in reporting database.Fills static posts to ensure age requirements for guests accessing casino.May interview persons and investigate breaches in security and breaks in policy.Enforces internal security policies and procedures.Prepares security incident and accident reports.Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.Obtains help by sounding alarms.Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures;Controls traffic by directing drivers.Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.Maintains environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.Maintains organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Perform all other duties as assigned.Education:High school diploma or GED.
