Job summary

Allied Universal in Kissimmee, FL is hiring an unarmed Security Professional to patrol a hospital campus, control access, and monitor CCTV. This safety-sensitive role may require TB testing, vaccines, and a pre-employment drug screen.

The position offers a $20.66 per hour pay rate with mid-shift and overnight schedules. Prior healthcare, military, or law enforcement experience is preferred but not required; a high school diploma and valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of verifiable employment history relating to customer service or protective services.
• Ability to operate radio/telephone equipment and console monitors.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated problem solving and de-escalation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of hospital grounds on foot or in vehicle; document observations of unusual conditions.
• Assist staff with de-escalation of situations and restrain combative individuals as necessary.
• Transport patients to the morgue, as needed.
• Escort patients from helicopter pad to the ER as required.
• Assist with evacuations during fires, medical emergencies, and disasters.
• Sound alarms or call police/fire department in case of emergencies.
• Monitor entrances/exits; ensure only authorized persons enter.
• Prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.
