Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Morgue Security Patrol in Thornton, CO to safeguard patients, visitors and staff in a healthcare setting. You will perform patrols, deter incidents, respond to emergencies, and maintain a visible, professional presence.

The role requires the ability to work in a hospital morgue, restrain individuals when needed, and provide excellent customer service. Shifts include day and overnight rotations, supporting a secure environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as assigned, and help support a welcoming environment for patients and visitors.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site leadership, healthcare staff, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents and security-related concerns.
