Prosegur is hiring an Unarmed Flex SCC Operator in Morgan Hill, CA. The role involves maintaining a safe environment, interacting with clients professionally, and handling security duties with strong communication and basic IT skills.

You’ll lead a security team at a client site and must read and follow procedures, with shifts including Thursday/Friday graveyard and weekend availability. The position is part-time, requires a CA Security Guard Card and 18+ ages, with 1+ year security experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• CA Security Guard Card.
• Minimum 1 year security experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Clean driving record and valid driver license.
• Capable of following complex instructions.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to participate in screening process including drug screen and background investigation.
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general unarmed security duties.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
• Be customer service oriented with basic to intermediate computer skills and strong written and oral communication.
• Prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
• Manage security services and related operations including post orders, staffing, scheduling, payroll, supervision and training at an assigned site.
• Provide leadership and guidance to a team of security officers, ensuring performance and adherence to protocols.
• Read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Use advanced computer skills to utilize access control technology at client sites.
• Handle both common and crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
• Respond to emergencies, investigate disturbances, and help ensure safety of people and property.

Job Skills / Requirements

Physical Requirements:

This position requires significant physical activity throughout the shift. Officers must be able to:

• Walk and stand for extended periods (including completing multiple rounds and patrols of up to 1-2 miles per shift)
• Frequently climb stairs, ramps, or ladders as required by site patrol routes
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Maintain alertness and situational awareness during all patrols
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
