Job summary

Prosegur Security USA, Inc. is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer to maintain a safe environment for customers and staff. The role focuses on professional interaction, hazard observation, and adherence to post instructions.

You will perform foot patrols, handle basic computer tasks, and communicate effectively both written and verbally. The position requires flexibility across shifts and a customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• Maintains safe and secure environment for customers and employees while performing unarmed security duties.
• Promotes safety by staying alert to observe, correct, and report hazards.
• Follows Prosegur and client requirements and post instructions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter incidents.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public professionally.
• Follow security procedures and report incidents per protocol.
• Assist in safety drills and training participation.
• Maintain clear headcount and access control where required.
• Utilize basic to intermediate computer skills for reporting.

Job description

Duties and responsibilities included but not limited to:

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.
• Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
• Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
• This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
• You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer.

Pay Rate:

$21/hr.

SHIFTS:

Must be available for work six (6) days a week, on at least two (2) different shifts, Day (0600-1400), Swing (1400-2200) or Graveyard (2200-0600)
