Job summary

Prosegur Security USA, Inc in the East Bay area is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer to maintain a safe, secure environment for customers and employees. This role involves routine patrols, reporting hazards, and interacting professionally with clients and staff.

The ideal candidate is 18+ with a HS diploma, strong English communication, a clean driving record, and the ability to follow complex instructions. You should be ready to participate in screening processes and work 2 out of 3 shifts.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Clean driving record and valid driver license.
• Capable of following complex instructions.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to participate in the company's screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures.
• Must be available 2 out of 3 shifts within East Bay.

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.
• Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
• Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
• This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
• You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer.
