Job summary

Sarah Cannon Research Institute (SCRI) is seeking an Unapplied Cash Analyst to join its finance team. This remote US role focuses on reviewing and reconciling unapplied cash and supporting related operational tasks across the organization.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (an associate degree is preferred), 1+ year in financial operations, and strong MS Excel skills. You will interact with sites, post cash, reconcile receivables, and investigate discrepancies to ensure accurate

• Associate's Degree highly preferred.
• 1+ year work experience with basic financial operations including: debits/credits, reconciliation, invoice structures and payment lifecycles.
• Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills.
• Understanding of how payments flow, how to match payments to invoices, and how unapplied cash affects financials.
• Additional qualifications include ability to investigate discrepancies, interpret remittances, and resolve unidentified cash.
• Strong attention to detail, problem solving and clear communication skills.

• Review, interpret and discuss remittances from payers for data accuracy

Our Unapplied Cash Analyst position is responsible for all cash application functions within the finance department including reviewing and reconciling unapplied cash and will support general areas of operations as well as provide administrative and organizational support.

This is a remote position within the US; relocation assistance and visa sponsorship are not available.
