Job summary

Four Seasons Resort Hualālai in Hawaii is seeking a friendly Server Assistant to join ULU Ocean Grill team. You’ll support servers, greet guests, and help deliver meals with genuine hospitality in a fast-paced, guest-centric environment.

Ideal candidates bring 3–12 months of restaurant or hospitality experience, strong communication and teamwork, and legal authorization to work in the United States. TB clearance and a passion for service are also valued.

Qualifications

• TB clearance required by Hawaii health authorities to work in food & beverage.
• 3–12 months restaurant/food & beverage or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Support Restaurant Servers with attentive, anticipatory service throughout the guest dining experience.
• Greet guests warmly and professionally with personalized hospitality.
• Describe menu items and presentations while serving food and beverages.
• Assist with food delivery from the kitchen and ensure accurate presentation.
• Stock linens, china, silverware, glassware, and service stations to Four Seasons standards.
• Prepare condiments, garnishes, and mise en place for service.
• Reset and maintain tables and dining areas during service.
• Assist with buffet, station, and dining room setup/breakdown.
• Acknowledge guest needs and respond promptly to requests with warmth.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety at all times.

ULU AM SERVER ASSISTANT

Four Seasons Resort Hualālai is seeking an enthusiastic and service-driven Server Assistant to join the team at ULU Ocean Grill, our signature oceanfront dining destination. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about hospitality, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are committed to creating memorable dining experiences through genuine care and attention to detail. As a Server Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting the dining room team while ensuring every guest experiences the warm, personalized service that defines Four Seasons.

What You’ll Do

• Supporting Restaurant Servers with attentive, anticipatory service throughout the guest dining experience.
• Greeting guests warmly and professionally while delivering the personalized hospitality for which Four Seasons is known.
• Serving food and beverages while confidently describing menu selections and presentations.
• Assisting with food delivery from the kitchen and ensuring meals are presented accurately and efficiently.
• Stocking and maintaining linens, china, silverware, glassware, and service stations to Four Seasons standards.
• Preparing condiments, garnishes, and mise en place for service.
• Resetting, cleaning, and maintaining tables and dining areas throughout service.
• Assisting with buffet, station, and dining room setup and breakdown.
• Anticipating guest needs and responding promptly to requests while creating meaningful connections with guests.
• Maintaining cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards at all times.

What To Bring

• Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card when working in food and beverage
• Previous restaurant, hospitality, food & beverage, or customer service experience preferred.
• Three to twelve months of restaurant, food and beverage, or related experience required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Ability to safely carry trays and transport food and beverage items.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
