Job summary

University Radiology is seeking a highly skilled Full-Time Ultrasound Vascular Technologist for our Monroe, NJ Imaging Office. You will perform vascular ultrasound studies, coordinate patient care, and support imaging services in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Requirements include RVT certification (and additional Abdomen/Breast/OB-GYN certs) with ARDMS/ARRT in Vascular Sonography, plus 2+ years of experience. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered for eligible new hires.

University Radiology, the largest provider of subspecialty radiology and teleradiology services in NJ, is comprised of over 200 Board Certified radiologists with advanced U.S.-based training and expertise in all modalities and all subspecialty areas. In operation for more than 60 years, University Radiology staffs, manages and provides preliminary and final subspecialty interpretations and consultative support for hospitals, imaging centers and other medical facilities, and serves as the academic radiology faculty at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Our physicians interpret over 2.1 million radiology procedures per year.

Responsibilities

University Radiology has an incredible opportunity for a highly skilled and compassionate Full-Time Ultrasound Vascular Technologist to join our dynamic imaging team and work in our Monroe, NJ Imaging Office. In this position, you will play a critical role in patient care!

Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

Occasional Saturdays 7:30am-1:00pm (with a comp day off)

In addition to being RVT certified, our Ultrasound Vascular Techs are also required to be certified in Abdomen, Breast, and OB/GYN. Ultrasound Vascular Techs must be certified in RVT and at least one of these areas to qualify. URG will reimburse for educational materials and exams for additional certifications, as well as a bonus once obtained.

*May be required to perform duties in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment and must be able to adhere to all department and facility safety protocols.

Pay Range:

From $42/hr

The rate provided is based on industry standards for candidates with 0 – 5 years of experience. Salary determinations will be made based on numerous factors including but not limited to years of experience, education and operational needs.
