Job summary

Mosaic Life Care in Missouri seeks an Ultrasound/ Vascular Lab Tech to perform sonograms across abdominal, OB/GYN, breast, and vascular specialties. You will support radiologists during procedures, review exam data, and ensure accurate charting while providing patient instruction.

Your role includes on-call coverage to maintain 24/7 ultrasound services, collaborating with nursing and physician teams, and mentoring students and staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Completion of an Ultrasound Program/OR equivalent meeting ARDMS standards for registry requirements.
• BLS certification required within 90 days.
• RDMS RDMS RDMS Registries and RVT/OBGYN credentials as applicable upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Interpret provider instructions and communicate with nursing staff and providers.
• Screen patients and review medical records for exam appropriateness.
• Explain procedures and refer questions to licensed practitioners.
• Prepare patients for procedures and perform ultrasound imaging.
• Assist with sonographic imaging in ER, OR and Interventional Radiology.
• Review images, document charges, and contribute to QA reports.
• Provide instruction to students and new staff; participate in orientation.
• Perform limited preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
