Job summary

Mosaic Life Care is seeking an Ultrasound Lab Tech to expertly perform sonograms in abdominal, OB/GYN, breast, and vascular services. This role supports radiologists in invasive procedures, documents results, and participates in 24/7 ultrasound coverage across facilities.

Qualified candidates will have ARDMS-related credentials, BLS, and strong teamwork abilities to coordinate patient care across departments, while maintaining high quality imaging and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Completion of an Ultrasound Program or equivalent meeting ARDMS standards.
• 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Must obtain BLS within 90 days.
• RDMS/RVT registrations required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Interpret a provider's instructions and communicate with nursing staff and providers.
• Screen patients and review medical records for exam appropriateness.
• Explain procedures and refer questions to licensed practitioners.
• Prepare patients for procedures and perform imaging with proper technique.
• Assist with sonographic imaging in ER, OR, and Interventional Radiology.
• Review and document exam results in the radiology information system.
