Job summary

Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center seeks a skilled ultrasound technician to perform general and vascular exams across neonatal to geriatric patients. You will provide accurate assessments and diagnostic imaging to support patient care in a high-value Providence setting.

Required are completion of a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program, ARDMS certification on hire, and BLS. Preferred candidates have hospital ultrasound experience and related education.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Program.
• ARDMS national certification required upon hire.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic and complex general and vascular ultrasound exams.
• Provide optimal assessment and diagnostic exams for patients across all ages.
• Support neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric imaging needs.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training:Graduate of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Program.
• Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's Degreewith certification of completion of a 2 year college based Ultrasound program.
• 2 yearsHospital based experience in ultrasound.
• 2 years' experience in performing carotid and venous lower extremity ultrasound exams.
