Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) Chelsea outpatient site is seeking an ultrasound technologist. Hours: Monday & Friday 8:00a-6:30p; RVT preferred. Sign-on bonus of $20,000.

Responsibilities

• Operates ultrasound imaging equipment to acquire images and communicates sonographer impressions to interpreting physicians.
• Maintains safety and quality of imaging and participates in departmental initiatives.
• Communicates effectively with students, peers, patients and physicians.
• Modifies scan techniques for optimal image quality.
• Participates in holiday and shift rotations.
