Qualifications

• Trade/Technical Diploma in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related certificate; Associate's Degree preferred.
• ARDMS certification within 90 days OR ARRT Sonography certification within 90 days.
• Ultrasound experience with multiple patient populations; 2-3 years preferred.
• Knowledge of imaging systems, PACS, and EHR integration.

Responsibilities

• Identify patient and verify data before the exam.
• Review exam order and patient history; prep equipment and room.
• Explain the exam to the patient; maintain confidentiality and professional conduct.
• Collaborate with leadership to optimize patient flow and scanner use.
• Perform ultrasound exams and operate equipment per protocols.
• Support research tasks and participate in department initiatives.
