Job summary

Concord Hospital is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging procedures under the supervision of department leaders. The role follows professional standards and ensures patient education and safety during procedures.

Applicants must be ARDMS or ARRT eligible/registered, hold BLS certification, and be licensed by the NH Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy. Certification to obtain ARDMS within 2 years is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAAHEP-approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• Within six months of graduation is acceptable.
• ARDMS registration/eligibility or ARRT registration/eligibility required.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Licensed by NH Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy; ARDMS certification within 2 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound procedures in accordance with scope of practice and departmental standards.
• Prepares and educates patient for procedures and expectations.
• Completes documentation of patient care and procedures.
• Maintains proficiency in hospital and departmental information systems and equipment.
• Maintains productivity and manages workload to meet patient care and department needs.
• Adheres to department policies and safety protocols and participates in meetings and initiatives.
• Completes hospital, departmental, and professional requirements.
• Supports continuous improvement aligned with management goals.

CAAHEP-approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography program

Two-year allied health patient care program (preferred)
