Job summary

Dartmouth Health is seeking an ultrasound technologist in Keene, NH to independently perform invasive and diagnostic ultrasound exams under supervision. The role emphasizes ultrasound physics, image interpretation support, and patient care across age groups.

Qualified candidates are graduates of AMA approved Radiologic Technology programs; ARDMS registration is preferred, NH license required, CPR within three months. Sign-on bonus up to $15,000 for qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology and/or equivalent educational level (RN/LPN/Student of RDMS equivalence) required.
• One year experience as a Sonographer preferred.
• ARDMS registration preferred within one year of employment, within two years required.
• Current NH license in Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy.
• CPR certification must be acquired within three months of hire and updated annually.

Responsibilities

• Independently performs established ultrasound procedures and diagnostic examinations.
• Consults with radiologists/referring physicians and provides technical interpretation of images.
• Maintains patient history and logs; documents examination details and billing procedures.
• Oversees patient scheduling and coordinates with other departments.
• Implements quality control and participates in quality improvement activities related to ultrasound procedures.
