Sharp Rees-Stealy La Mesa is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for the Day shift. The role requires formal AMA-approved training, BLS, and RDMS certification, with ARRT preferred.

The technologist will perform ultrasound exams, assist physicians, and manage RIS/Synapse workflows to support radiology operations. The position travels to other Sharp locations as needed, with a full-time schedule and on-site work in La Mesa, CA.

Qualifikationen

• Satisfactory completion of an AMA approved training program and required state/federal certification.
• AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professionals (BLS) required.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) required.
• ARRT Certificate preferred.
• 1 year ARRT experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Perform a wide variety of ultrasound procedures with quality patient care, assisting Physicians as needed.
• Communicate findings and issues to Lead/Supervisor to ensure accurate documentation.
• Accurately utilize RIS/Synapse and ensure images are properly routed to Radiologists.
• Maintain department regulatory requirements and patient safety standards.
