Job summary

Sharp HealthCare is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to support the department under the supervision of the Manager/Supervisor/Ops Coordinator. You will perform technical procedures with a focus on patient care and assist physicians as needed.

The ideal candidate holds a CRT and BLS certification, completed an AMA-approved program, and may have relevant ARRT credentials. Weekend on-call and shift coverage are part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of formal training in an AMA approved school and meets state/federal certification requirements.
• CRT - CA Department of Public Health - REQUIRED
• AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional - REQUIRED

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities of the department under the direction of the Manager/Supervisor/Ops Coordinator.
• Perform a wide variety of technical procedures with quality patient care and assist Physicians as needed.
• Communicate findings and ensure proper documentation in RIS and PACS
• Maintain regulatory compliance and ensure patient confidentiality
• Cross-cover in related areas as staffing requires
