Job summary

Sharp Healthcare in San Diego is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for the SRS Downtown Fir St location. You will perform a wide range of imaging exams, assist physicians, maintain patient safety, and ensure high-quality imaging for timely diagnoses.

The per diem, part-time position offers variable shifts, weekend on-call as needed, and requires CA CRT certification, ARRT preferred, and BLS. Familiarity with RIS/PACS is a plus, on-site work only.

Qualifications

• Completion of AMA-approved training program and CA state certification.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Professionals required.
• CRT certification (CA DPH) is REQUIRED and ARRT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of imaging procedures with quality patient care.
• Assist Radiologists as needed and ensure accurate data entry in RIS/PACS.
• Maintain patient safety and confidentiality, following ALARA principles and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate clearly with leads and staff regarding equipment or process issues.
• Coordinate with department to ensure timely patient exams and proper billing documentation.
