Job summary

DRISCOLL HEALTH PLAN seeks an experienced ultrasound technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging and related data analysis to aid physicians in diagnoses. The role may require ARRT registration and maintaining competency across ultrasound and radiography.

The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, adhere to confidentiality, and participate in quality assurance and protocol development within the radiology department.

Qualifications

• Training as a Medical Diagnostic Sonographer (Typically 12-18 mos).
• 2-3 years pediatric sonography experience preferred.
• Associate’s degree in radiologic technology (where applicable).

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound imaging and evaluate data for physician diagnosis.
• Maintain clinical records and confidentiality.
• Operate and select transducers; adjust power output and gain.
• Transfer images to PACS or hard copy.
• Adhere to ACR certification standards for ultrasound facilities.
• Assist in procedures and maintain infection control.
