Now Hiring: Ultrasound Technologist

Location: Central Region (Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Lehigh Acres)

Type: PRN

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Radiology Regional is one of the largest physician-driven diagnostic imaging providers, with 13 imaging centers in Southwest Florida. We are seeking an ultrasound technologist passionate about caring for others in the communities we serve. Job Summary for Ultrasound Technologist: The ultrasound technologist performs a variety of ultrasound scanning and imaging procedures independently, utilizing judgment and ingenuity to apply prescribed ultrasound techniques for diagnosis. They assume responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.

  • Performs all specialty areas of ultrasound exams, including assisting radiologists with procedures.
  • Prepares and reviews images for interpretation by radiologists/physicians for diagnostic purposes.

Requirements

Experience:

  • Required: Registered in vascular ultrasound.
  • Required: RDMS, ARRT (US), or CCI certification or registry eligible, with knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and at least 6 months of practical ultrasound experience.
  • Required: Appropriate registry in practicing ultrasound specialty or active pursuit of registry in ultrasound specialty.
  • Required: Completion of required continuing education hours per certification or annual period to meet ARDMS, ARRT, federal, and other accrediting agencies' requirements.
  • Required: CPR Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
