Job summary

Radiology Regional is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform various ultrasound imaging procedures with independent judgment at our Southwest Florida centers. The ideal candidate is passionate and has the required certifications and practical experience to provide high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months of practical ultrasound experience.
  • Registered in vascular ultrasound is required.
  • Completed required continuing education hours.

Responsibilities

  • Performs all specialty ultrasound exams including assisting radiologists.
  • Prepares and reviews images for radiologist interpretation.

Skills

Independent judgment

Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy

Education

RDMS, ARRT (US), or CCI certification
CPR Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Now Hiring: Ultrasound Technologist

Location: South Region (Naples, North Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero)

Type: PRN

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Radiology Regional is one of the largest physician-driven diagnostic imaging providers, with 13 imaging centers in Southwest Florida. We are seeking an ultrasound technologist passionate about caring for others in the communities we serve. For over 50 years, we have earned trust and confidence through our patient care experience.

Job Summary for Ultrasound Technologist: The ultrasound technologist performs a variety of ultrasound scanning and imaging procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Performs technical ultrasound procedures requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to apply prescribed ultrasound techniques for diagnosis. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.

  • Performs all specialty ultrasound exams, including assisting radiologists with procedures.
  • Prepares and reviews images for radiologist/physician interpretation for diagnostic purposes.

Requirements

Experience:

  • Required: Registered in vascular ultrasound.
  • Required: RDMS, ARRT (US), or CCI certification or registry-eligible with knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and at least 6 months of practical ultrasound experience.
  • Required: Appropriate registry in practicing ultrasound specialty or actively pursuing registry in the specialty.
  • Required: Completed required hours of continuing education per certification or annual period to meet ARDMS, ARRT, federal, and other accrediting agency requirements.
  • Required: CPR Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
