Texas Health Resources in Frisco, TX seeks a PRN Ultrasonographer to join the Ultrasound team. Work location is Texas Health Frisco, 12400 N Dallas Parkway, with rotating days/nights, one on-call weekend roughly every 8–9 weeks, and holiday schedule.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required; AMA-accredited ultrasound program preferred.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year hospital setting experience preferred.
• BCLS certification required before independent patient care (and maintained quarterly).
• ARRT Sonography certification plus one additional modality upon hire required or.
• ARDMS must have 2 certifications upon hire required and RVT/VT(RVS) as one modality if vascular sonography performed.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures to patient or guardian prior to and during exam.
• Image correct anatomical area and pathology per department protocols.
• Perform complex procedures including age-related criteria and developmental considerations.
• Adjust ultrasound parameters for quality images.
• Assist radiologist with complex and invasive procedures using aseptic technique.
• Process and manipulate images, assess image quality, and troubleshoot/differential diagnose.
