Job summary

Mercy Health seeks a PRN Ultrasound Technologist at Anderson Hospital to perform ultrasound exams with a focus on patient safety and comfort. The role supports various modalities and works within a faith-based, patient-centered environment.

Qualified candidates will have ARDMS/ARRT eligibility or registry, an AMA-aligned ultrasound education, and ideally one year of experience; EPIC EHR and PACS experience preferred to facilitate daily operations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ultrasonography program and ARDMS/ARRT registry eligible.
• ARDMS or ARRT registration is required.
• 1 year ultrasound experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient and verify identity to ensure the correct exam is performed.
• Explain procedure and obtain consent; document patient history and findings.
• Obtain images and relay impressions to physician; ensure patient safety.
• Maintain equipment and participate in audits and education.
