Bon Secours Mercy Health in Virginia is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist at Harbour View Medical Center on a PRN basis. The role performs ultrasound procedures and produces diagnostic images under Radiology leadership.

The position requires direct patient care, proper patient prep, safety, documentation of findings, and participation in education and audits. Preferred candidates have ARDMS/ARRT credentials and an AMA ultrasound education background, with at least one year of ultrasound

Qualifications

• Graduate of ultrasonography program and ARDMS/ARRT registry eligible.
• Certification/Registration with ARRT or ARDMS required.
• 1 year ultrasound experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound procedures and produce diagnostic images.
• Explain procedures and ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Document impressions and relay findings to physician.
• Assist with audits and education of students/new staff.
