Saint Luke's East Hospital in Lee's Summit, MO is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to join our Radiology team. You will perform ultrasound exams to assist in direct patient care and may work in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Experience: Less than 1 year
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
• RDMS Certification - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
• Associate Degree in a related field

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound exams (abdomen, OB/GYN, vascular)
• Perform ultrasound-guided procedures (paracentesis, thoracentesis, FNA, biopsies)
• Work in a team atmosphere or autonomously while providing patient-centered care

Shift Details: PRN Swing

• ARRT(US), or ARDMS
• RVT required
• BLS

The Work

Perform a variety of Ultrasound exams, including, but not limited to, Abdomen, OB/GYN, and Vascular. Perform Ultrasound Guided procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, FNA, and biopsies (will vary by shift). We are seeking patient centered, self-driven, motivated Ultrasound Technologists who are committed to providing exceptional patient care in sonography. To be successful, you will need to be able to work in a team atmosphere as well as autonomously. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, adaptable, task oriented, resourceful, and possess strong communication skills.
