Job summary

Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City is seeking a radiology ultrasound technologist to perform ultrasound exams within the imaging center and radiology department. The role supports direct patient care and may assist other modalities as assigned.

New hire must obtain Reg Vascular Technologist credential within 90 days. BLS and RDMS certification are required; RDMS is essential for this position. Work involves daytime shifts in a convenient care/imaging setting.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• RDMS Certification - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• Reg Vascular Technologist - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound exams in radiology to support direct patient care.
• Assist with other modalities and duties as assigned within Imaging/Convenient Care settings.
• Support regulatory timelines to obtain registry in vascular technologist within 90 days.

Within the organizational structure of radiology performs ultrasound exams to assist in direct patient care.

New hire will have 90 days from start to obtain Reg Vascular Technologist - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.

In Convenient Care/Imaging Center setting, may also assist other modalities and perform other duties as assigned.
