Job summary

Saint Luke's Women's Health Plaza is seeking an experienced ultrasound technologist to join our team on a PRN basis. The role focuses on OB/GYN ultrasound and includes assisting physicians with procedures, documenting studies, and communicating with patients in a caring, professional manner.

Qualified candidates will have RDMS certification and an Associate's degree (or higher) with 1 year of OB/Gyn ultrasound experience. BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• RDMS certification is required.
• Associate's degree required for grads 2017 or later.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association or Red Cross required.
• Minimum 1 year OB/Gyn ultrasound experience.
• Ability to work PRN schedule and travel to clinics as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform OB/GYN ultrasounds and assist with ultrasound guided procedures.
• Ensure image quality and accuracy for interpretation by physicians.
• Complete worksheets and maintain documentation for each study.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients.
• Schedule and coordinate tests as needed.

Saint Luke's Women's Health Plaza is looking for an experienced, caring, patient-centered Ultrasound Technologist to join our team! This PRN position will support Women's Health Plaza as well as two other Saint Luke's OBGYN clinics within the Kansas City metro area.

• Monday - Friday; 8am-430pm
• No Nights, No Weekends
• Previous experience performing OBGYN scans including anatomy scans required.

The Opportunity

• Performing a variety of diagnostic OB/GYN ultrasounds, including assisting physicians with ultrasound guided procedures
• Ensuring quality and accuracy of images for interpretation by a Radiologist or OBGYN physician (Varies by clinic)
• Completing worksheets and maintaining proper documentation for each study performed
• Communicating clearly and compassionately with patients
• Scheduling and coordinating tests as needed

Qualifications

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) - Required
• Graduates 2017 or later must also have Associate's degree
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through American Heart Associate or American Red Cross required
• Minimum 1 year experience in OB/Gyn ultrasound
• Reliable, adaptable, and professional
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Comfortable working independently
