Job summary

Saint Luke's Women's Health Plaza is seeking an experienced ultrasound technologist for a PRN role, supporting Women’s Health Plaza and two OB/GYN clinics in the Kansas City metro. Workdays are Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm with no nights or weekends.

You will perform OB/GYN ultrasounds and assist physicians with ultrasound-guided procedures. Requirements include RDMS, BLS certification, and an Associate’s degree for grads 2017+.

Qualifications

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) required
• Graduates 2017 or later must also have Associate's degree
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association or Red Cross required
• Minimum 1 year experience in OB/Gyn ultrasound
• Reliable, adaptable and professional
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Comfortable working independently

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of OB/GYN ultrasounds, including assisting physicians with ultrasound-guided procedures
• Ensure image quality and accuracy for interpretation by Radiologist/OBGYN physician
• Complete worksheets and maintain documentation for each study
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients
• Schedule and coordinate tests as needed

Job Description: Saint Luke's Women's Health Plaza is looking for an experienced, caring, patient-centered Ultrasound Technologist to join our team! This PRN position will support Women's Health Plaza as well as two other Saint Luke's OBGYN clinics within the Kansas City metro area. Monday - Friday; 8am-430pm No Nights, No Weekends Previous experience performing OBGYN scans including anatomy scans required.

The Opportunity

• Performing a variety of diagnostic OB/GYN ultrasounds, including assisting physicians with ultrasound guided procedures
• Ensuring quality and accuracy of images for interpretation by a Radiologist or OBGYN physician (Varies by clinic)
